My rock climbing is diverse from the gritstone edges of the Peak District, through to the granite classics of the Chamonix Aiguilles.
For me climbing started in the Peak District, and I still enjoying guiding near to the village of Hathersage. Where there is simply some of the best single pitch rock climbing around - "THE grit". For longer and harder routes the Peak as has some excellent Limestone venues and North Wales is with in easy reach.
In the Chamonix area there is a huge amount of climbing from bolt protected sport climbs in the Limestone Arve Valley, through to the classic granite cracks of the Chamonix Aiguilles or the wrinkled Gneiss of the Aiguilles Rouges...
